The Lower Mountain region of Navarre is a place of warm summers and rugged winters. Its continental climate in summer and the harsh conditions due to being part of the Pre-Pyrenees result in ideal climatic conditions for producing wines with unique character and body. Navarre is famous for its wines, but according to experts, this region has such a distinct climate from the rest of Spain’s wine regions that it possesses excellent qualities for wine production.

The style and character of the flavors in the wines produced by Bodegas Caudalía & Heredad Beragu in this experiential symbiosis, and the use of Syrah, are influenced by the climate and altitude where the grapes were grown. Moderate climates like that of the Navarre Pre-Pyrenees produce a wine with significant body, high tannin levels, as well as fruity flavors and hints of rosemary with citrus finishes.

Cielo & Tierra INDUSI is the perfect example of a wine with deep body, intense color, and determination. Its manual harvesting and selection by the local people is another key factor in its production process.

As part of the agricultural industry, we fully depend on our surrounding, just as it depends on us. That’s why we grow our produce organically and sustainably. Over the past decades the carbon footprint of the winery has been positive, which is something we’re really proud of.

valle-gallipienzo

Hills and ravines intertwine around the Aragón River, the backbone of irrigation, vineyards, and fields in the Lower Mountain region. It is a privileged territory where the light is constant, but the climate is variable with abundant rainfall. Only a continental climate with mountain influences could produce an INDUSI.

From the Vascones and the earliest evidence of complex agriculture from the Bronze Age to the hundreds of Roman roads and highways that traverse our territory, these are just a few of the historical fragments that connect us to viticulture and the tradition of our people in crafting exceptional wines through the centuries. They reflect what we were, what we are, and what we will be in the realm of producing the finest wines.
